Not really.!! . . . . Yes building DIY it's easy but to buy a good fully working machine with software and with Control box meeting EU safety which it needs to meet by Law for any company selling in UK then 3K don't get you much if you want a good accurate reliable machine.! . . . Remeber the company needs to make profit to exist!. . . If they don't exist you are left with an absolete machine with no support.!!
It's quite easy to build a low powerd, low strength machine to cut wood occasionally in your garage but completely different thing to build one that will do it 12hrs a day 6 days a week and shift meaningfull amounts of material.!! . . . Then strength and power are required even just cutting wood.
