Thread: Greetings from Cornwall

	02-09-2012 #1Hello all,

I've been machining since probably the late 1980s when I completed my City and Guilds. Naturally I started out conventional machining but as time progressed companies I worked for purchased more and more CNC.

I consider myself a a good "old school" machinist and a pretty good CNC machinist. Programming slows me down, I am not a natural at it. Seems most places I have worked at have their own "programmer" anyway.

Ran and setup many machines from Okuma horizontals to various VMCs and turning machines.

Anyway, just thought I would say "Hello" from wet Cornwall and hope to be a regular here.
