Sounds bad mate. If they are slow getting you to Stanmore get your wife
to phone everyday and moan at them, a mate with a head injury sat in a hospital
ward for three months and only got in to a specialist unit as his bird was on the phone
every day wanting to know why they weren't getting him moved.
And if your bikes need exercising let me know, I sorned my land rover in April and get around
on a bike, I love it. But no cheap tat please, I am a surrey mountain biker.
Good luck

you sound like the type of bloke that likes to keep himself in mint condition.... i bet you’ll be having a crack at the London marathon in a couple of years, i love how those cheeky bastards in chairs are quicker than the runners
and those nutters on running blades !... "Cant run standard races because its cheating" lol
anyway, if all else fails I’m sure we could squeeze an RD400 engine under the seat for some rip-roaring trouble making pandemonium.. Keep fighting man and good luck xxxxxxxx

working on my own ideas re RIP chair. dont fancy tracks, think 6 wheeled arthropod, dual electric/IC drive. also re 'wrong trousers', lol, did anyone see the segement on Richard Hammond's program about exoskeletons? haven't seen it yet but kids thought it interesting. tried a self-propelled wheelchair yesterday, managed 10m down corridor before the engine (me) ran out of power! its a start tho.

10m? that's about the distance from the house to the workshop isn't it? :-) Sorted! Good to hear the progress you're making already.
exoskeleton crossed with segway control electronics? Hmmm, where did I put that Zenoah engine?

So sorry to hear of the accident and its outcome, all I can offer are my best wishes now and for the future. Everything you have brought this community has been invaluable to someone, somewhere, even now you bring hope in face of adversity.
I've always wanted a full Iron Man suit and if anyone can make it happen then you Irving are near the top of that list.
