Thread: Who Can Fix My Lathe?

I bought a Seig CQ6230B/910 lathe & a couple of years ago it went 'POP' & let all the smoke out. Since then it's just been sat there laughing at me.
I've wired it up with a temp power supply but it only works if I manually operate one of the contactors.
On the basis that me & elecktrickery don't get on very well at all, is there anyone in the Nott's/Derbys area who would care to have a poke & prod on my behalf?

Hi Chas
Do you have any wiring diagrams for your lathe?
Where in Notts are you?

I'm at Junc 28 so not far away, don't mind nipping over and having a look sometime.
PM me your phone number I will give you a ring to arrange a time.
