My name is Simon and I work for a recruitment company called Alecto Recruitment based on the South coast.
We have over 100+ UK wide Precision Engineering jobs including CNC Machinists, Manual Machinists, Production Engineers, Production Managers, CAD CAM Programmers, Design Engineers, Mechanical Inspector and Inspection Managers etc.
I currently have a position as follows;
My client is an extremely well established machinery and engineering company who work within the automotive, defense and aerospace industry are looking for a Shop Supervisor to manage the daily running of their shop floor.
Suitable candidates will have come from a machining background and have experience with Mazatrol and Heidenhain controls. Fanuc control experience is also desired. A suitable candidate must be able to operate 4 or 5 axis mills and have suitable CAD/CAM knowledge.
They will also have previous experience of running a busy workshop, producing high quality precision components for a number of different industries (Sub contract environment).
The ideal candidate must be able to, or have experience in;
- Work with all materials, including exotics
- Trouble shoot production problems
- Supervision
- Capacity planning
- Training staff
- Quotations
Suitable candidates will be given flexible day shifts and a negotiable salary.
