Cambium Machines announces a free web-based tool for generating simple G-code. The page will generate a complete G-code program to cut an arc or a straight line between any two points after specifying the start and end points, the size of the arc and other parameters such as feed rates and work piece height. No CAD work is needed in the process.
This tool is a very simplified extension of the Cambium Code program for Windows, which will generate G-code for a number of woodworking joints from a set of basic parameters about your part. Currently supported joint types in the desktop program include mortise and tenon, half-blind dovetails, sliding dovetails, dados and others.
Thanks for checking it out. Any feedback would be appreciated and other cut types will be added in the near future.
