Will there be any issue with mounting the VFD for the spindle motor inside the main electronics cabinet?
I know VFDs are a major source of noise, but will it be any worse than a trio of brushless servo drives?
I'm planning on having everything (mobo, harddisk, Kflop/Kanalog, relays, contactors etc) in the one cabinet. My plan is to have all the high voltage stuff (contactors/VFD/Drives) at the bottom, Kflop kind of central with output relays of to one/both sides, then motherboard and associated bits at the top.
All inputs/outputs are going to be 24v or differential, with sheilding/grounding where appropriate.
Anybody see any issues with that plan?
