That looks like a real fiddly job with lots of broken taps and scrapped work pieces. Tapping a 1.3mm thread into a blind hole is a nightmare in any material. Doing it in stainless steel is certainly not helping matters. Also, you'll need to make allowances for drilling and tapping depth as I very much doubt that anyone will be able to create a flat bottomed thread like you have drawn.
All in all, a bitch of a job and likely to be very expensive.Last edited by birchy; 12-04-2013 at 10:07 PM.
