hi to all,
l'm an old bloke who has only been into cnc work a little while, needing a hobby now that l have retired from the catering trade. l started by building my own machine and then sold it because it was to big.
it was a very succesful build and l sold it on ebay for 3k.
l now have a chinese model and have had some considerable success over the last 6 months turning out som good 3d work.
l am operating mach 3 and vectric aspire which up to now l have found fairly simple but suddenly l have a problem that l dont understand and hope someone on here can help.
when l set up a 3d job vectric sends the g code to mach 3 fine but when l start cutting, the cut goes way beyond the parameters l have set and when the tool returns to home for the second cut it stops short of the home point by as much as it over cut on the first cut. could anyone give me a reason for this and a solution.
thanks a lot, tiny.
