They're getting better at making CNC machines (even though the following line looks like gobbledegook, it's actually a clickable link to a chinese forum ...MyCNCBejing???)...
ˆ‘们š„›•ˆœ15KGž‹›(Z轴100mmŒ‹ ) (œ€ˆ交货‰ˆœ) (amoBBS ˜Ž”*论›) (takes a fair amount of time to load fully, cos there's a lot of pictures & their server is probably on a 9600bps modem)
The control box looks like a high end audio amplifier...
That said, it's a pretty penny for us Joey Foreigners....AMCNC 01 PCB Engraving machine Aluminum chassis MINI CNC Engraving Machine for electronic engineer /free shipping-in Laser Equipment from Industry & Business on Aliexpress.com Though this Swedish guy who bought suggests it can be had a lot cheaper...Chinese Tabletop CNC-machine Unboxing (AMCNC-01) | TheMesh.se
& here's their MKII model (on the right)....
‰大好ˆ息š AMCNC-02PVC*式‘ƒ! „计ˆ快›…‰‡”Ÿ产 (amoBBS ˜Ž”*论›) ( looks like a CNC machine for the Army!).
Their MKII model seems to yield excellent results wrt milling a pcb...

Re the grey machine, yeah, PVC...I know, I know...but I guess it boils down to what you're cutting (the zentoolworks CNC is made from a similar material and folks seem happy with it)...not everyone wants to mill girders! (as an aside, I always think of the IRN Bru advert whenever I hear the word girder Irn Bru Advert: Shipyard Boy - YouTube "Made in Scotland from Gurrrrr-daaaas" !)
Re the smaller machine, I was just struck at how well put together it looked (especially the control box!)...compared to the usual Chinese fayre.
Anyway...shouldn't you be milling a girder? ;-)Last edited by HankMcSpank; 18-06-2013 at 12:10 PM.

LY CNC 3020Z-DQ++ ball screw,milling Engraving machine,CNC 3020 Luxury version | eBay
(normally when you reveal your "factory" in an advert, it's because its modern, big, clean, bright & efficient looking - that place looks like a messy lock up!)Last edited by HankMcSpank; 18-06-2013 at 04:50 PM.

For the sake of clarity - I'm not knocking the fact they work where they do & what it looks like (& yes, I'm sure it's how a lot of big businesses started this way - fair play to them
...but probably best not to show the world your "factory", until it's erhm more "factory-esque"!!! ). As it goes their end product is better than the average Chinese 3020 offering - at least they're using ballnuts & have fitted limit switches.
