I have 2x Colchester Chipmaster Lathes.
The problem i have is i want to get them converted to 240v supply, one of the solutions is to buy a Mitsubishi inverter, adjust the jumpers on the motor and it should work !!!
The Company ahve advised me that they need to know the details and specs on the on the Motor....dual voltage etc...
The problem i have is getting the Motor out, does anyone have any ideas how i would approach this ?
I am new to Lathes, so if i cant get this job done i will need to sell them and buy a new Lathe.
All help would be very appreciated.
Thanks...
