    Hi all

Does anyone have the answer to this question -

Can i reduce the screw size for my X & Y axis drives ?

I am converting a HOBBYMAT BFE65 mill, to CNC control, i am currently in the process of changing my Trapezoidal screws for Ball screws, my problem is that space is tight were the Ball nut will fit, ie, Current Trapezoidal diameter is 14 mm, can i reduce to 12 mm diameter Ball screws ??

    Regards

    Ray
