    I'm not that good lol ! and its more to get some hard woods down to 1.5 mm thickness evenly as well, my thicknesser can do a good job to about 4 maybe 3 mm somthing like this but in woods that are hard to find in this thinkness cherry , ebony etc and yes I have done a fair bit of with veneers but on a larger scale , small stuff deserves sthe soild stuff :)
