    Has anyone seen the Studiomill:
studiomill.co.uk Studiomill - educational CNC CAD CAM machines, 3d tutorials ...
looks like a bit different to the other small mill designs - looks like a 4 or maybe 5 axis?

They seem to be going for around £7200 aimed at schools etc.

I think I spotted some unsupported rails in there - although they do say its meant for working with plastics, wax, woods, resins and foams - so its probably OK! I think it might be a faster alternative to those filament 3D printers (which might be a bit slow for classroom uses).

    Heres another mini 5-axis:

Software for 5-axis CAM might be the problem for "home desktop 5-axis machining" - although the Studiomill 3D is bundled with a CAM package.
