    gorbo, like you I got a bag of inserts from Screwfix but after looking on YouTube for a while I decided to use the T slot. If I was cutting metal I'd go for a full T slot bed.
    I'm also going to make some of the cam clamps that Gerry mentioned to allow the top surfaces to remain flush, sometimes you don't want the piece actually held down, you just want it to stay in the same place.
