Have you seen evidence that a laser will cut through that thickness of material. I would imagine the power needed to slice through that much fabric would charr the edges and set the material on fire. I don't know what your budget is but if you really need a laser to do this you are not talking about hobby prices think 10's of thousands. I think a knife or recipricating saw blade is what is commonly used for thick stacks. How detailed are the cutting patterns you what to cut?
