I use John Boddy Timber at Boroughbridge, http://www.johnboddytimber.co.uk/species_az.htm
It's a 200 mile round trip for me but there's nothing better that's closer.
What it doesn't show on the website is the huge stocks they have of sawn timber in sheds at better prices than the sawn and planed stuff in their 'showroom'.
I like to pick my own timber so don't know about delivery.
