I am about to configure a "System 45" 3 axis unit by DIYCNC in the UK , can some one please advice on what timing setting I should use when using the StepConf Wizard in LunuxCNC.
Also the instructions for the System 45 give the following setting for the drivers that I don't understand?
1/2 step type B (0-100%)
1/2 step type A (0-71-100%)
Which should I use?
Thanks
Steve

Best bet is to email Roy, be patient for a reply though
Have you tried the default values for timing ? also do you really want 1/2 stepping ? it obviously depends upon the application but most go with 1/8 , in which case you dont care what (1/2 step type B (0-100%)
1/2 step type A (0-71-100%)) means.Last edited by EddyCurrent; 15-10-2014 at 02:00 PM.
Spelling mistakes are not intentional, I only seem to see them some time after I've posted
