Hi everybody,
Terry Parker in the Mach Yahoo group has just made a post about FreeMill From the makers of RhinoCAM and Visual Mill.
Completely free. It isn't MasterCAM but might be worth a download.

Had a look at this some while ago and wasn't impressed. You can only choose one tool and with this type of work you need a roughing and finishing tool.
I know you can do two files but the second file won't take into account what the first one has removed so it very time consuming and you might as well just do the file with the finishing tool.
The type of jobs it's aimed at require small ball nosed tools such as 2mm cutters with 0.5mm stepover so the toolpaths are huge
You have to compare 'free' against your time and more importantly the machines time.

This may save some hassle:
PW for installing FreeMill :
VisualMill
If the installer disappears I can post it on RapidShare or similar, just ask.
