I am currently living in a static caravan. I bought it off gumtree for £500 and now im looking to tart it up. Im hopefully going to try and use my cnc to cut some parts for it so I though I would post a build log here.

I had an idea to cut some floor tiles in the style of MC Escher but im not sure I can afford the cost of the wood if there is going to be a lot of waste.CNC routing and prototyping services www.cncscotland.co.uk

If it was on the telly it would be called, "Pimp my Trailer"
Maybe there is a timber yard, kitchen fitters, shop fitters, or similar that have loads of offcuts that would do ?Last edited by EddyCurrent; 20-12-2014 at 04:27 PM.
Spelling mistakes are not intentional, I only seem to see them some time after I've posted

I think it's very nice, it's also nice to see a well thought out analytical aproach to a mathematical problem,

I thought it said veneered MDF was chosed over veneered ply for it's clean cutting at the corners?

I think he used 6mm oak veneered mdf, he also said if he could do it again he would try and find a veneer with a thicker oak section so he could sand the whole thing down afterwards. You can see some of the lizards do not sit flush which is a shame cause the veneer is so thin he cannot level it off with floor sander.

Yes i read it again...doh! I did something similar for a friend with a Moroccan pattern and used pallet wood for the job. I used tea to add tanning and then stained it with wire wool steeped in white vinegar.
