hi there all my name is Gary and I would like to get into cnc type work I engrave gift item as the moment from home part time and would love to get myself going in this world but as a novice need some help in the right direction regarding some training and purchasing the right machine. I would like to be able to router and engrave from plastic to aluminium. I have been looking around but there are so many to choose from bit mind blowing prices from a few hundred quid up to 15000 plus vat and some of the companies like vision and gravograph etc. also as I work from home in a cabin in my garden what are the noise levels.... am I going to upset the neighbour's etc. :)
would be nice to meet a few people who have them as hobbyist or for business around the London area also if anyone knows anyone that does a bit of training paid of course just to learn the basics if cnc.
any help or advise would be grateful at this time
kind regards
Gary
