With living in Spain are you referring to Granit worktops? .. Clive

RDG sell 1/2" shank indexable milling cutters http://www.rdgtools.co.uk/acatalog/I...ng_Cutter.html but I would be wary of balance problems at the speeds of a spindle.

No, would be quite messy and even rigid, my "baby" is not meant for this. Though occasional granite engraving is considered from the beginning.

These seem nice, but they are more like fly cutters and seems not meant for high speeds.

What i mean is find the following:
spoil board surface, 60degree V, straight 2 flute and ball nose, all that using cheap inserts.

I looked quite time now and what i found is http://www.wealdentool.com/acatalog/...oling_158.html
At first glance seems expensive, but later their inserts seem really cheap and accessible.

I am thinking of buying next week at first that one:
    http://www.wealdentool.com/acatalog/...nning_928.html

I have seen similar 4 times the price and the inserts each are 1.5gbp . Obviously will be needed for my 1300x2600 bed and will be nice to check the quality before jumping to buy other ones. I dont know what will happen if i try light passes on aluminum :-)

so i am still looking around for up to 1/2 shank insert router tooling with cheap inserts.

I have seen some chinese ones at ebay but what put me off was the length 100mm, it must be for some deep reach. 50-60 euro, mitsubishi inserts.

Can you get Amana bits there? They make all of what you're looking for except the ballnose.

Looking at them . Customs really become a problem here. Amana tools are shiny but expensive and maybe not so good as they look. Have to use them to tell for sure. Truth is they look quite tempting and versatile.

I just bought one of these to surface my table. Will be using it soon, so I can give some feedback after.
