Well, said and done.

Key point being that used M8 nuts to solder below level to hold the M6 screws. So more or less it was -Design, Cut, Weld, Paint, Put together process.

~300kg of steel, ~300euro the build, much more time than expected, more or less a whole week, doing it without helper.

I am very happy with the result. Hope you like it too!

Started using it right away. No more soldering on the floor.

some more of that, managed to weld the bottom very straight.




half done but still very useful, no other way to drill all those holes alone, even for example on big pillar drill

some painting, the black one is Temp resistant, the brown red is ..cheap anti oxide



when i have the cash i still need 5 of these from Ikea so i could keep more stuff there. By the result is very straight top as you could see :-)



The metal sheet is to keep the s--t from dropping down, painted in temp resistant paint.



Side view, still not finished but some additional stuff like magnet holders and so on...

How was I supposed to know, all you needed to do was let me know and book a flight over to you, I wouldn't have minded .

Have you thought of checking ebay for the filing cabinets?

Over here there are loads of people selling them for 99p because they just want someone to come and collect them.

It was like that here before the crysis. Now people search in the bins and sell them on boot sale for prices similar to new, and i am not talking about immigrants like me, i am talking Spanish people.
You wont believe it but Spanish try to sell all second hand stuff for prices like new. I dont know who buys it but its some national stupidity. Yesterday was looking for second hand serious plunge router for my wife's father, something 1/2 and more than 2000W, like some Makitas, so if new is 360 euro in shop they want second hand in yellow pages 300.
