As I am about to create a replacement CNC machine for the small one I have at present, I have done a lot of reading on different forums with the conclusion that this one is full of 'good stuff' and will be able to help me on the journey, my background is 40+ years in mechanical engineering, teaching, designing and building anything from robots for TV to racing and rally cars, my experience with CNC started in the days when code was worked out with the aid of a slide rule and it took a day to enter into the machine, in contrast todays modern software like Vectric Aspire makes it all a lot less painful.
