	04-08-2015 #1Hi All,

I am completely new to cnc, so forgive me. But I am looking at buying a cnc router that will 99% of the time be used for cutting wood. This will be for hobby use with the potential to make items to sell on a part time basis!

I am looking for a 4ftx4ft machine that would be man enough to cut beech ply and carve in to soft and hard woods. I am also hoping to be able to cut dovetail joints and do inlays.

I have a budget of around £4000, would this be enough to get a decent machine? I am not fussed if new or used but I am probably looking to get something that is ready to go.

Can anyone recommend me some machines?

 Many Thanks,

 David
