    I know this is a commercial machine but there are some nice ideas here for a 3 axis machine:

    Although some of the ideas are already found in machines built by members:
    Raised X rails - as seen many machines on this site
    Linear rails onto ground surfaces - with small side locator pins (as fvfdrums rails)
    Driven through centre of gravity, twin ballscrew, even on Z axis (as Sylavski)
    Box in box Z axis and double rail Y axis (as Jonathan's machine)

    Got me thinking about a new machine . . .
    Building a CNC machine to make a better one since 2010 . . .
