Thanks for the reply. I've asked the redsail salesman who replied to confirm the delivered cost to the uk as it was so much less than the ebay uk offer. The spec is slightly different though (800W spindle as opposed to 1500W water cooled).

Thing is with bringing in from abroad, you need to add VAT to the price of item and shipping/handling.

See freight for this machine will be in the region of £400 with insurance. Then you will need to get involved with a freight forwarder...it gets involved.

Courier freight can run into the 800-1000 region. It all adds up.

Go and see if the machine is worth it.

Too expensive for what you get IMO. Bed is unsupported so milling ali will not be ideal, only one central ball screw etc...

Search AliExpress and Alibaba. You will find some good looking machines for £3k.
