    hi wondering if any one could help as to why my bob isnt coming on to run my drivers. i had an old computer to try them and they jogged ok now i have a new one and theres nothing working at all no led coming on to the drivers to show communication think it might be the pp.

    Davo,

    How are you powering up the BOB? The parallel port does not transmit power.

    If the Drives are not showing that they are getting power, then check the power to them too and ensure that the enable signal is set up correctly in ports and pins. Enables are usually active low but double check your drives.

    Another issue you may face is that newer LPT's push 3.3V and not 5V...
