	28-07-2009 #1Hi, in relation to stepper motor wiring... 
 
 If i have a green, red, yellow and blue wire how do i know which is which phase...hope that doesnt sound to elimentary?
 
 Any help or advice is much appreciated as my electronics knowledge is not great

	28-07-2009 #2Two are one set of coils, the other two are the second set. 
 Take a test meter and check for continuity between two wires. Mark them as A+ and A- Check the other two and mark them as B+ and B-
 
 Don't worry which one is which as that's configurable later in software.

	29-07-2009 #4Once you have worked out what are the phases, you will then need to find what is the start and end of the phase. 
 you need to get the start and end of the phase right or one phase will cancel the other out and you wont get the motor moving.

 I will give that a try, gary..start and end of a phase, how do i do that?
 
 No i bought the motors along with some other stuff from fleebay.
