Thread: Quote for building a CNC Router
-
29-06-2016 #1
Please forgive my laymen wording, I am not great with the terminology and the technical jargon, I will outline what I want to do with a machine, then please, if you don't mind, can I perhaps get a quote for building a machine for me?
I want to cut MDF, in sheets of up to 18mm thick, and in sizes up to 1000mm x 600mm or so.
Mainly letters, shapes, small furniture items (Children's stools etc)
I will be hopefully cutting for a few hours every day. I was looking at the Stepcraft Machine but this is really just a hobby machine and needs to be switched off every 15 mins or so. (When using a lower end spindle)
I am not sure what other info you might need at this point, and I hope I have reached out to you all on the correct forum page.
Thanks in advance
Susie
