    just a quick note on my build I decided to go with a belt drive, the reason is I am not that mobile and it enables me to get closer without a steper boring in to you , it also makes it a bit more compact.
    up to now. I have got it moving under its own steam but am unhapy with the play I have in the X Y screws. I have ballraced them all and used two sets of thrust bearings, they are very smothe andare nice to use under manual control but there is some play in the nuts, I want to replace them befor I go for full cnc so am just using it with a controle box a friend made .
