Sorry folks, I've already posted a question about design possibilities and I skipped the formal introduction.
I'm Kenny. I got inspired to build a CNC Router a while back from a guy on a guitar building forum. I've built a couple of guitars in the last few years and do a little bit of service and repair work for mates.
The idea was to build a CNC router to build guitars on and hopefully turn it into a small business but after seeing some of the stuff that can be done I think I'd be a bit daft to design it just for guitars when some small carving projects could help fund the stuff I really want to do.
Look out for a design and build thread coming soon!
Cheers!

No, I think you were in order with your first post.
Not easy when you see the quality out there now; e.g http://www.mayones.com/Spelling mistakes are not intentional, I only seem to see them some time after I've posted

Ye, Knagg are doing some great stuff on CNC. Guys like them and Sutch are quite inspirational.
Having some great guitarist friends helps, I'm looking to go with playability first then make fancier stuff when I get better at the drawing and design thing.

Not bad but I think I'm liking just the natural wood style better.
Had a look here ? http://cnclutherie.com/Last edited by EddyCurrent; 23-11-2014 at 11:11 PM.
