That's pretty interesting (the cynic in me is screaming "how much are the tapes") but really good, innovative idea. If it works, the market will be flooded with chinese knock-offs within the year.

I saw this about two years ago and was quite amazed but it was only 2 axis then. I can see limitations though for instance it has the limitation that it has to have the tape all around the part you are cutting therefore you won't be able to cut say within 150mm of an edge of ply. But good idea in general and I can see some good applications for it.

The tape is a pain and clearly only suitable for 2d / pocketing in soft material but I still think it's a cracking idea! So small but no real limit on the size of sheet you can cut.
