Forum Etiquette

A question about forum etiquette:

Is it Ok to post links to another similar forum?

I am trying to understand the DDCSV controller's command language. I am posting on MadModder as this is where a lot of the early work was done but I know a number of people here are using this hardware but maybe not on MM.

It just would save me posting everything twice.

I'm subscribed to MM to follow, they should do the same.

Have you considered Release Notes as it seems the uninitiated are just downloading the latest version thinking it will be the best without realising it's a beta-test version with an invite for fault reports, they then spend days moaning and asking everyone why something that was released with the caveat "stuff might not work" doesn't work as they expect?

Hi Nick, I have nothing to do with the work that's been going on with the new versions etc.
I agree version control/release notes has been a bit lacking but they have been doing sterling work.

All I'm trying to do is to understand what you can/cannot put in the g-code file (i.e More than just g-code)
Also how to get probing working for me!!

Sorry Will, I put 2 & 2 together and made 5 there.

I think probing was something they broke in the latest "beta" at Christmas.
