That looks like it is similar to the one I linked to. 1.5mm is more that enough but make sure that you securely clamp the cable to the Z axis so that there is no strain on the plug as if the plug...

According to the manual it says power consumption is 5W so about 0.2A I would use a 5A PS in case you want to power other things in the control box

Yes bigger more powerful spindles like 3 kw you can use bigger cutters. If you want more motor power then use nema 34 but then you need higher voltage drives (mains voltage type).

Yes that is one way. But is far simpler to just edit the ini file as you can get very fine adjustments. . (This is for the benefit of others to see that the config files are just plain text)

Well as you now know stepconf is only to be used once and as is says at the top of the ini file it generates. It gives the warning not to not to rerun as it will overwrite any edits you have done.

Excuses :frown: It helps to see pics. Its not a good idea to have a belt joining the two screws and then using two motors . Either 2 motors or 1 motor with one belt over both screws.
