    You will probably want a rotating centre also, plus some micrometers if you don't already have them,and a set of imperial and metric thread gauges and a Zeus book.

    Hi Scott.. Belts are a no no for a machine that size. I tried a few years back and failed miserably. Fine for a plasma with a light gantry but a definite no go for anything to do with machining...

    Don't over think it because it's not required for the use your wanting it for, infact, for a sheet material machine you'd be better without the high sides to make loading and access easy, just build...
