Re: Ooznest WorkBee Machine build homing problem
Just done a little bit of research. Looks like the Ooznest relies on prewired harnesses and a bunch of configuration files to set machine parameters. However, I believe that this link might help.

Re: 220v 11kw VFD ground
Looks as if it may be the screw terminal between the two 3-terminal blocks but I can't quite make it out from the photo.
The wiring diagram you show says 380V, not 220V - and 11KW is a pretty... -

Spindle motor temperature and cooling
I have recently been renovating a Denford Orac lathe, mainly replacing all the electronics, and which is now almost finished to the point that I can start using the machine. It has the original ASEA...

BUILD LOG:
Re: 4' x 4' x 8" Router Build
Decent drives, and I would be happy using 55V AC with those.
I have a home-built CNC router, roughly 1500x750mm cutting area, and the gantry is about 1m long and fairly heavy - especially with a... -

Re: DIY Gantry CNC Router - Y Axis - Moving Gantry vs Moving Work Bed
Briefly - moving-bed allows the gantry to be part of the structure of the machine, so stronger, and can be braced for more resistance to vibration. The moving bed can be pretty strong and...

Ernest,
I'm based just outside Totnes and run both a CNC router (home-built) and commercial CNC mill, although my main interest is metal rather than wood. I'm reasonably handy on the electronics... -

Re: Want to buy Chinese CNC 8x4 what to look for
Not entirely a realistic budget for a machine like this, unfortunately. About 4-5 years ago, a friend of mine who runs a small business making engraved signs bought a 600x900 machine from Acctek. At...

Those terminals look like just two terminals with two tags on each. Look carefully at where they are rivetted into the top cap - they are probably a single piece of metal folded.
