    I had a similar problem with my Triac, tried new pull studs but still had issues with of them. I removed the cylinder from the top of the drawbar and adjusted the screw in the end of the spindle...

    Bright Mild Steel has not been polished, it refers to mild steel in its bright drawn form which is significantly straighter and flatter than hot rolled mild steel.
