Bright Mild Steel has not been polished, it refers to mild steel in its bright drawn form which is significantly straighter and flatter than hot rolled mild steel.

If you have or plan to make a rigid machine, 3kw is better. Some extra speed and power does not hurt.

2.2Kw is the one most people seem to use but the 1.5Kw are Ok as well it is worth going for the water cooled version as they are very quiet.

Some small progress.
At the end i found the cable problem that was making all time my Z axis servo trip. I measure all- fine, test the machine and the Z trips. measure again all connections fine....
