Dale It would help if you set your goals out regarding size of machine and what is it you want it to cut. Cutting ali is a lot different than cutting mdf etc

Today I bashed out the side mounting plates. I'll need to make some more shoulder screws as I have used a similar alignment strategy to the gantry slider plate to ensure... -

I bought a pair of 1.5m of linear rails with 4 blocks and a 1.4m ballscrew with couplings, mounts, etc.
Spend is ~£250 now but will need to buy 2... -
