  1. Re: Need advice on how to transport CNC Router to new house

I would make some simple wooden clamps, move everything to the center, lock everything using the wooden clamps, as a friend or a relative to help and that's it. You can test if you can lift one side,...
  2. Re: Need advice on how to transport CNC Router to new house

Michael 2 people can easily lift 100 kg as you say just move the gantry to the centre and lower the spindle to a block on the bed .

If the control box is solid wired you might be able to put that...

  4. Sticky: Re: The 2.2Kw Chinese Spindles - Info, Setup and Advice + More

No need to do either of those as it's very easy to let the VFD operate it.

There is relay built into the VFD which can be set up to turn on/off when spindle spins. By default it's set to operate...

  13. Re: Wiring 24v NPN Proximity Switch to 5v BOB - Why does'nt it work

Without re-reading the entire thread, NPN means it's switches the signal wire to ground.

So connect the sensor +VE to 24V, then the Gnd/0V to both the 24V supply GND/0V, and the BOB GND/0V (best...

Dust extraction should be a priority especially if you intend to machine MDF. It uses urea-formaldehyde as a bonding agent and the formaldehyde is a proved carcinogen besides other harmful effects.

  23. Re: Wiring 24v NPN Proximity Switch to 5v BOB - Why does'nt it work
