    So I am going to use 2k resistors as shown on the diagram below, right?
    Sorry for keep asking, I want to eliminate the chance to make a critical mistake.

    No, see my post below. You don't need resistors because the motor outputs are only 5v NOT 24v
    -use common sense, if you lack it, there is no software to help that.
