    Snapper mentioned silicone spray. That would be no good to me because if it gets on wood it prevents any finish from taking, silicone is anathema to me in general.

    Can you finger the cartridge to get the lube out or do you need the gun?
    Might be easier for my application to go with the spray as I am not working with wood and would allow easy application if I was to use this on my HMI...?
