    Re: Controller Comparison

I've heard that they'll be adding more I/O at some point, probably an add-on card?

Sorry, no lathe screenset any time soon. (soon being at least 5 years) :friendly_wink:

WANTED: Re: bt35 collet chucks for denford triac

I've not seen any proper bt35 tooling (da180 da200) on ebay for years.

WANTED: Re: bt35 collet chucks for denford triac

I don't think this will be very useful... but here goes.

Re: Probs installing UC300ETH on XP

@Batwell - thanks, you're on the money. It turns out it's all working just fine and apparently just set itself up. No need for all the malarky in the UG. That'll teach me not to RTFM. :topsy_turvy:

Re: Triac VMC Servo // Z-Axis Dropping on power off

Machines with the drive dogs, IIRC early ones used a drop in solenoid to locate the spindle, then later ones used a sensor (possibly alos with a programmed time delay).

    Denford stopped fitting the...

Re: Denford Triac Z axis ball screw removal

Well - after my mate came around and had a look he noticed the z axis jib strip was moving up and down. We had a look and found a lot of play where the screw head contacts the jib strip and as the Z...

    Re: TTS Tooling system

I'm using something like Mach3 version .028 and that works fine with the CSLabs macro for touch-off and M6start/end. When I tested the touch-off mechanism, I was getting +-1 microstep repeatability,...

    Re: TTS Tooling system

Yes if using Cslabs macros. The problem is with Mach rather than Cslabs but the workaround is to use Modbus and talk directly to the controller rather than going thru Mach.

  17. CONVERSION: Re: Yet another Denford for the collection (Triac Retrofit thread)
