Denford microrouter extraction

I was looking at this extractor but which end do you reduce the hose from 100mm to 32mm or will it not make a difference. Also could you tell me what the parts are in photo, I’m assuming they are to hold down a waste board, seems like something is missing.

no idea what the yellow things are.

the black aluminium bars, of which there should be three are for resting the spool board on
