I'm in a bit of a predicament at the minute... I've had a load of trouble with my denford cyclone, it seems that the 20 year old electronics are no cooperating, so I'm debating whether to persevere and keep patching up the problems, or write it off and install something like cslabs csmio/ip-a running with mach4?? decisions.... can you offer any advice to help sway my decision?

Replace, no discussion! Been there ..... I had tried to use my drives / motors etc. Remove the variance when things dont work and the older stuff is not as good or reliable.
It costs more but you will have a better / more modern machine.
I may be able to provide some other kit too if interested (motors etc), let me know if interested.

Thanks Chaz,
Hmm, so I've spent a bit of this morning pulling out the old boards and drives. Looks like I'm going for a retrofit. What system did you go for? I'm thinking cslabs, they seem a bit more expensive, but also more robust?
