Nice brackets Jeff, very neat.
Word of caution though, aluminium isn't a good or reliable trigger for proximity sensors, I would fasten a piece of steel or have them sense a bolt head rather than the aluminium bracket-use common sense, if you lack it, there is no software to help that.
